Everything I’ve done wouldn’t have been possible without the influence and help of certain people. Below are the family, friends and influencers in psychology who have been the biggest help in my journey.
I’m deeply grateful for my parents, who have been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout my life. They’ve always shown an incredible amount of care and made me feel like my best interests were their priority. Their love and guidance gave me the confidence to pursue my goals and stay resilient through challenging times. They’ve celebrated with me in the good moments and stood by me during the hard ones. Their dedication to creating a good life for themselves and for me has been a huge inspiration. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
I’m grateful for my friend Julie and our weekly conversations on psychology and business. Talking with her pushed me to refine my ideas and led to a major breakthrough in my work. Having someone with a similar mindset to exchange ideas with has been energizing and inspiring, and her friendship has been a big part of what keeps me motivated.
I owe a huge thanks to Dave Powers and Shan Renee for creating and sharing Objective Personality in 2018. Their work was a turning point for me, proving that personality typing could be approached scientifically and systematically. Their discovery of the 512-type code and their framework of “animals” gave me the foundation to create The First Pattern™ and explore how these ideas interconnect across many different systems. Their dedication to teaching this system helped me gain clarity about myself and inspired me to get involved by running Facebook groups and contributing through coaching and training programs. Their commitment to their craft continues to inspire me and has shaped much of the work I do today.
I’d also like to thank Tony Robbins for his work on the Six Human Needs, which laid a crucial foundation for understanding the human psyche. His framework gave Dave and Shan a powerful lens to combine with Jung’s Cognitive Functions, ultimately helping them discover and explain Objective Personality. Without Tony’s insights, the creation of this system and much of my own work that builds on it might not have been possible.
I also want to thank the creators of the Myers-Briggs framework for building on Carl Jung’s cognitive functions and organizing them into the 16 personality types. Their work provided a practical structure that made these ideas more accessible and widely used. I believe this framework was an important stepping stone for Dave and Shan in their early years, helping them see the value of personality typing in real-world settings and motivating them to dig deeper. Without this foundation, Objective Personality and the work I do today might never have taken shape.
I want to give special thanks to Carl Jung, whose groundbreaking work laid the foundation for nearly all modern personality systems. He introduced core concepts such as introversion and extraversion, the collective and personal unconscious, archetypes, and the four primary functions of consciousness which are thinking, feeling, sensation, and intuition.
Jung also explored ideas like complexes, synchronicity, and the lifelong process of individuation which is the journey toward becoming whole. His insights provided the framework that made it possible for others, including Dave and Shan, to build Objective Personality. Without Jung’s pioneering contributions, much of this work might never have existed.
